I did a 6 min clip from footages (VHS vid) taken by my friend Rob Torelli (thank's!) at the time we got back in 2004 from a first spearfishing trip to Three King Islands (NZ).
Pleased to share this highly emotional and exceptional encounter:I guess you can also feel excitment in watching the orcas :D. They were the master of the game during an about one hour amazing freediving party. and we had to humbly share this experience.

I have always been courious about orcas. Why do they call them "killer whales"? They look to me like "big dolphins". How is their behaivour in front of humans? Curious? shy? Aggressive in any way?

+2 There is no registered attacks to humans. Not even one.
There have been some attacks from captive K. whales to ther trainers; but who can stay in a such a small swiming pools for several years making the same stupid things again and again?...

Well, there is people that goes out just for shooting plastic containers. Maybe that's an explanation of their behaivour... ::)
