italian permission is valid in Spain? Please help

l'unico paese che riconosce la tessera fipsas italiana íƒÂ¨ la francia ( e mi pare anche la croazia): ma íƒÂ¨ comunque finalizzato alla concessione del permesso locale, nel senso che non fanno pagare extra. Le pratiche burocratiche alla locale capitaneria le devi fare lo stesso.
su AM c'íƒÂ¨ una sezione specifica che tratta questi aspetti, mi sembra.

Ci sono stato diue anni fa ed i pesci che ho vsito stavolta vorrei prenderli e non solo fotografarli....ho fatto il corso, ho preso brevetti pensando fossero validi anche in Spagna ed invece, sono punto e a capo...che sfortuna...

The official way to get the licence here in Alicante is :

- Get a medical certificate signed by a "hyperbaric medicine specialist" medic (here in Alicante = 30 í¢â€šÂ¬ )

- Go to "Conselleria de Agricultura, Pesca y Alimentación" to get the licence, with your DNI (Italian ID) ; anyway I'm not sure that you could get the licence not being spanish. Also, I don't know if there's any way to convalidate your italian licence.

- Fill some papers with your data, go to the nearest bank and pay the tax (10 í¢â€šÂ¬ ? ). Return to the "Conselleria" and get the card.

I'm fishing like 15 years here in Alicante, and only one time Police ask me about licence. If you are going from the coast (not with a boat) the probabilities to get asked about the licence are near 0%

I mean, maybe there's another type of licence for foreigners,any type of convalidation or something like this.

As they are asking about ID os passport, I suppose that with your italian ID you can get the licence.

Anyway, I don't know if all this type of problems are worth just for one week of spearfishing !

But believe me I've called everywhere and nobody's able to answer me reliably.

True, it's a week but as stranger adn with respect to the rules , I'd avoid having problem.

Un'idea. Qui a Barcellona giíƒÂ  íƒÂ¨ il quarto anno che io faccio il permesso di pesca presso uno dei principali negozi di pesca subacquea che gestiscono tutta la pratica. Gli porto un certificato medico officiale (non c'íƒÂ¨ bisogno che sia uno specialista in medicina iperbarica, te lo puó fare qualsiasi medico iscritto all'ordine dei medici), la fotocopia di un documento, una trentina di euro per l'assicurazione e nel giro di pochi giorni mi danno il permesso e l'assicurazione. Se trovassi un negozio ben fornito ad alicante probabilmente ti potranno gestire direttamente tutta la pratica. Gli mandi le cose per posta e per quando arrivi giíƒÂ  saríƒÂ  pronto. E' una cosa che io feci un paio di anni fíƒÂ  per il permesso di pesca croato.

But in the Valencian Commnunity is obligatory the hyperbaric specialist medical certificate (maybe is the only community in Spain where is necessary). Probably it could be easy to get in another community.

I've the FIPSAS certificate with the coverage assurance also in Spain. i will have the passport and all the cards (CMAS, Permiso italiano de pesca submarina, FIPSAS card).

In MORAIRA (the place I'll be) I saw there was a SCUBA shop. My intention is first to go there and ask how to get a week permission in a short time. In case they won't help me , I'll go to Capiteria de Puerto and I'll ask for it...

Are you the Atonini I know by internet? The famous Antonini or you've just copied the sentence?

I have write that sentence from start mixing Fabio, your name, with a know surname of a great italian spearo. It is a joke, you just put your surname instead "Antonini". Do you catch it "antonini"? 

Be sure you ask correct shop owner. I believe old Marc Valentín Shop is not far from there.
